Are your products gluten-free?

This is a very challenging situation because our products are not tested for gluten. Therefore we cannot claim any of our products to be gluten-free. Typically gluten is found in wheat and certain grains. Tocopherols (vitamin E), used as an antioxidant, can utilize a gluten-containing grain or by-product in the manufacturing process, or as an ingredient and can vary depending on what is available. Most of our products contain tocopherols as part of the preservative system.

Because we don’t market Lotus Moon as a gluten-free skin care line our products are not tested for gluten, therefore we can only suggest what we think would be safe for gluten intolerant customers, but cannot guarantee them to be gluten-free. Lab testing for the presence of gluten in our products would add another layer of cost and at this point with pricing for organic ingredients going through the roof we are trying to keep cost down as much as possible.
