Golden Glow is a perfect blend of natural ingredients for the perfect tan. This self tanner provides the skin with a sun-kissed look and fulfills all the expectations of a high-performing self-tanning product with no unpleasant odor and a very natural and non-yellow resulting skin tone.
Using Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) a naturally occurring substance found in plant cells, when applied to the skin, DHA reacts with peptides and amino acids to generate a brown polymer called melanoidin. Groups of these melanoidins produce a safe, natural looking tan without the need for damaging sun or UV exposure.
We use a 100% all-natural Eco-cert Certified DHA that is produced using a Gluten-free and GMO-free fermentation process. Our safe and eco-friendly self-tanning products can give your skin that sun kissed look, sans the skin damage.
Besides the amazing bronze glow that Golden Glow® creates, added mica and pigment is used as an application guide, to help eliminate any missed areas on the skin. In addition, the extra pigment gives skin an instant bronze hue, while waitng for the DHA to work its magic. Golden Glow provides a natural, bronze color (instant and gradual) plus a pleasant, natural scent.
About the Ingredients:
- DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) – Natural and Ecocert certified DHA, sunless tanning ingredients that gives a soft bronze color to skin
- Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit – Potent antioxidant proanthocyanidins, anti-microbial
- Watermelon Fruit Extract – Prevents DNA fragmentation in fibroblast and keratinocytes, decreases erythema after UV irradiation, protects important cell structures from damage by UV induced free radicals
- Fructooligosaccharides (d-beta) – Natually occurring carbohydrates derived from cane or beet sugar, promotes growth of healthy probiotic bacteria to strengthen skin immunity.
- Evenly apply Golden Glow over body (legs, arms and torso) to achieve a natural and healthy tan color.
- The added pigment works as an application guide to help identify missed areas as well as to give an instant bronze glow to skin.
- We have found that it is best to use a physical exfoliant 12 to 24 hours after the initial application of the Golden Glow to smooth out the pigment.
