- L-superoxide dismutase - a super antioxidant, is the skin’s own antioxidant enzyme, which acts as an environmental protectant by neutralizing the common superoxide ion. Its role is to eliminate the free radicals and to prevent the chain reactions that would eventually reach deeply into the skin thereby helping to prevent aging caused by free radicals
- Resveratrol and Polydatin - the most powerful anti-aging and antioxidant ingredient from red wine proven to contribute to younger-looking skin. Resveratrol can also help in the treatment of skin problems caused by stress.
- D-boldine - UV absorption properties and strong free radical scavenging activity so it will protect skin against damaging free radicals. It also protects the cells and anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and very calming.
- D-Quercetin - a naturally occurring flavonoid compound found in most plant tissues but particularly abundant in Evening Primrose, May Apple, Onion and Green Tea. This chirally correct form has anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory activities that have been attributed to Quercetin’s antioxidant proerties. It protects skin from oxidative stress.
- L-ascorbic Acid - antioxidant; an important component in repairing free radicals and preventing them from becoming cancerous or accelerating the aging process. Topical application of l-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) stimulates collagen production and is a very powerful antioxidant.
