Yet another Vitamin C product, you say? NO! A different vitamin C product or rather a Vitamin C product with a difference! The difference is the phyto-alexin-c.
This chirally correct break-through vitamin C complex delivers an active hydra-stabilized Vitamin-C, L-Ascorbic Acid, into to the skin in the form that can be most easily absorbed. When an ingredient is chirally correct the molecules turn in the direction best able to benefit the body’s health.
Super C Complex is fortified with a 10% Phyto-Alexin-C Compound, composed of advanced L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Resveratrol and Polydatin, which are grape phytoalexins found in red wine. Phytoalexins help spare the skin from oxidative stress and increases collagen production. Phyto alexin C also improves circulation and the skin’s ability to protect itself. Phytoalexin C encourages factors such as EGF and fibroblast growth factors, which result in more resilience for the skin.
Cassia betaglycan from the cassia bark, containing d-catechin, boosts immunity while betaglycan is calming retains moisture and leaves skin velvety soft.
Hyaluronic Acid, a key component of the skin, provides the structure for natural water retention, resilience, elasticity and healing. Referred to as the "super moisturizer" due to its ability to hold 1000 times its’ weight in water -- as compared to collagen and its’ capacity to hold only 40 times.
Squalene: From fresh ripened olives. Botanical form of squalene found naturally in skin. Boosts the effectiveness of sodium PCA, supplying moisture to skin’s epidermal lipid layer
L-proline: Chiral amino acid improves strength of cellular envelope while improving and restoring skin’s elasticity.
L-sodium pca: important chiral component of human plasma and skin. This version however, is derived from molasses, and it is used to boost moisture.
Black currant oil: a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) along with other plant amino acids and vitamins to nourish skin.
L-glutathione: Extracted as glutamine-cysteine-glycine peptide from purslane and spinach, L-glutathione is left-handed for greater protection of membrane lipids from free radicals.
Directions: After cleansing and toning, apply smoothly over the entire face, neck, and chest area. Allow to penetrate. Use a sun protective moisturizer during the day, and for fine wrinkles best results are achieved when used day and evening. Gentle enough for daily use and for around the eyes.
