Lotus Moon products utilizes unique and proprietary ingredients in its anti-aging, acne and lightening skin care formulations. Our formulations are built from scratch. This very intensive and precise process involves the careful selection and combination of ingredients found in nature and the latest in scientific, ‘green’, organic and natural ingredient technologies in order to achieve the best possible end-result.

Each product’s safety, efficacy and compatibility with the skin, is a direct result of the ingredients chosen and how those ingredients interact with each other. We formulate using natural earth-harvested ingredients and pure standardized botanicals, including, but not limited to: extracts, essential oils, purees, etc, in addition to naturally synthesized ingredients to create a therapeutic and safe product.

All of our formulas are Petrochemical Free, Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, Phthalate-Free, have a natural base and contain only natural colors and fragrances.

A stable natural preservative system is used with our cleansers and moisturizers using a combination of certified organic extracts. For our serums, peels and masks we use a variety of broad-spectrum preservatives along with 4 other natural inhibitors and antioxidants to help with preserving our products including: gluconolactone, denatured alcohol, sodium benzoate, benzyl alcohol, phenethyl alcohol, and caprylyl glycol. We feel confident that these are excellent paraben-free alternatives for all of our customers worldwide.

We follow the INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) labeling requirements, which is mandated on the ingredient statement of every consumer personal care product.

The INCI is a system of names for waxes, oils, pigments, chemicals, and other ingredients of soaps, cosmetics, and the like, based on scientific names and other Latin and English words.  It allows the consumer to identify the ingredient content, which not all companies abide by. No hidden ingredients. No Animal Testing. No animal body parts. All of our products are EU (European Union) compliant.

We do NOT conduct, commission nor serve as a party to animal testing for any of our products, formulations or ingredients.

We do NOT purchase any ingredient, formulation or product from a Third Party Manufacturer or Supplier that conducted, commissioned or has been party to Animal Testing on ingredients, formulations or products.

We abide by the Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals as put forth by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) who in addition created the Leaping Bunny Standard. We proudly display the Leaping Bunny logo on our products and website as a way of letting customers know that our products are never tested on animals.

Our products are manufactured in FDA Registered and USDA Organic Certified laboratories. They are manufactured under the highest standards of quality control, in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). We work with outstanding and knowledgeable chemists and formulators whose testing encompasses the full spectrum of Microbiological Testing, including Aerobic Plate Count, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing, Accelerated Stability Testing and Challenge Testing so that you can take comfort in knowing that our products are safe and stable.
