Environmental Stewardship

Being a "green" and sustainable business is more than just paper recycling, car pooling and water conservation. Those things matter too, however, it also includes fostering business relationships with like-minded vendors and manufacturers; sustainable ingredient sourcing, product packaging; fair labor practices, social and economic responsibility, which also includes cruelty-free manufacturing practices.

Our practice is to produce safe skin, body and wellness products that have minimal negative impact ecologically and socially.

We use recyclable plastic and glass; pay fair and living wages to our employees; print brochures and other informational materials locally and on recycled paper using vegetable-based inks.

SMB Essentials is a member of the Green Business Leadership Forum for Green America, a non-profit organization that certifies businesses that are committed to using business as a platform for social change.
